4. Monte Carlo Simulations

Horizons uses Monte Carlo simulations to model a range of possible financial outcomes. These simulations generate thousands of hypothetical scenarios using randomized market conditions based on historical data and statistical models. The results represent a distribution of possible outcomes — they are not predictions of what will happen. Percentile bands (e.g., 10th, 50th, 90th) indicate the range of outcomes observed across simulations, not the probability of any specific outcome occurring in reality.

5. Optimization Tools Are Educational, Not Advisory

The Service includes analytical tools that model the potential impact of various financial decisions. These tools are educational and informational, not advisory:

• Social Security Claiming Analysis: Models the impact of different claiming ages on projected income. Based on current SSA rules, which are subject to change by Congress. Does not constitute advice on when to claim benefits.
• Roth Conversion Analysis: Models the potential tax impact of converting traditional retirement assets to Roth. Uses simplified tax calculations that may not reflect your actual tax situation (state deductions, AMT, NIIT, phase-outs, etc.). Does not constitute tax advice.

The Company does not verify advisor licensing, supervise advisor recommendations, or assume any fiduciary obligation to clients of advisors. If you are a client of a Financial Advisor using the Service, your advisor's use does not make their advice our advice.
